Good Culture Adds Dedicated Production Line with Associated Milk Producers Inc. to Expand Capacity
Dedicated Blair, Wisconsin, facility strengthens Good Culture's supply chain and supports future innovation
AUSTIN, TX (November 4, 2026) — Good Culture, the clean-label cultured dairy brand credited for revolutionizing cottage cheese, today announced its partnership with Associated Milk Producers Inc. (AMPI), one of the largest farmer-owned cheese cooperatives in the U.S., to open a dedicated production facility at AMPI’s Blair, Wisconsin, plant. Built precisely around Good Culture’s standards, the facility is expected to begin operations in Q1 2027 and will significantly expand the brand’s cottage cheese supply.
The announcement follows the launch of Good Culture’s dedicated facility with Michigan Milk Producers Association (MMPA) in May 2026, with both investments driven by the brand’s rapid growth. Good Culture has grown revenue 2.5x over the last three years, is the highest-velocity cottage cheese brand in every channel where it’s sold, and has the #1 branded cottage cheese item by both dollar sales and velocity.* Together, the expanded production capabilities will help the brand meet that demand, ensuring consistent product availability while creating room for new cottage cheese products and future innovations.
"When we started Good Culture, cottage cheese was a forgotten food, and manufacturers were walking away from the category," said Jesse Merrill, CEO and co-founder of Good Culture. "Since then, we've brought life back to a stale category, and with that came a whole new generation of consumers. We’re thrilled to be opening our second fully dedicated facility to support growing demand. Partnering with AMPI's farmer-owners means every cup starts with milk we’re proud of, and it gives us the capacity to keep up with shoppers today and the room to keep innovating for what's next."
The partnership, which began in summer 2025, grew out of shared values around quality, animal welfare, and an elevated consumer experience. As a cooperative of 500 family farms, AMPI shares Good Culture’s belief that great cottage cheese starts with great milk, and AMPI brings a strong cheesemaking history, a dependable milk supply, and high-performing manufacturing capabilities.
“We are the farmers, cheesemakers—and everyone in between—who help ensure every cup of Good Culture cottage cheese is made with Co-op Crafted® excellence,” said Sheryl Meshke, President and CEO of AMPI. “Making good food is what we do. We’re proud to be the dairy product behind a leading brand that holds itself to the same standard.”
