Have A Day Ships More Than 50,000 Cases This Year, More Than Doubling Full-Year 2025 With Two Months Left
Creator-owned tequila cocktail brand from the founders of Bob Does Sports is up 169% year to date, posted the biggest month in company history in August, and is opening new territories across Ohio, Tennessee and Florida this quarter
JUPITER, Fla. — October 27, 2026 — Have A Day, the premium blanco tequila ready-to-drink cocktail brand created by the founders of Bob Does Sports, has shipped more than 50,000 cases this year, more than doubling its full-year 2025 volume with two months still to go. Volume is up 169% year over year through September. August was the biggest month in company history, up 178% year over year, and September followed with a 163% year-over-year gain even after the summer peak.
Built by the Audience, Not Endorsed to It
Have A Day was created by the personalities behind Bob Does Sports: Robby Berger (“Bobby Fairways”), Nick Stubbe (“Fat Perez”) and Joseph Demare (“Joey Cold Cuts”). Unlike celebrity beverage brands that license a name and try to convert borrowed fame into sales, the founders own Have A Day and build it inside the content environment their audience already follows. The network reaches more than 5.6 million combined followers, averages 2.4 million monthly social reach and 1.4 million YouTube views, and posts a 4.5% average branded engagement rate.
“Most beverage brands launch a product and then spend years trying to build an audience around it,” said Ryan Goldstein, Operating Principal and Board Member of Have A Day and Founder and CEO of A.P. Keaton. “We started with an audience that already had a real relationship with the guys. But having an audience and building a successful beverage business are two different things. What’s exciting is that we’re starting to demonstrate how one can translate into the other.”
A Distribution Network Built Without Major Supplier Backing
Have A Day is sold across eight states — Florida, Virginia, Georgia, Ohio, New York, New Jersey, Tennessee and New Hampshire — through 21 wholesale partners operating 32 shipping branches, a network built since the brand’s 2024 launch without the infrastructure or financial backing of a major beverage supplier. The network is weighted toward beer wholesalers, whose route density and cold-box access move the brand faster than traditional wine-and-spirits houses typically can.
More than 3,600 distinct retail accounts have purchased Have A Day this year, including chains such as Total Wine & More, Buc-ee’s, Kroger, Giant Eagle and Food Lion. In Ohio the brand holds authorizations with eight chains, among them Giant Eagle, Acme, Marc’s and Discount Drug Mart.
“The hard part has always been getting a consumer to come back a second time. We’ve never had that problem,” said Matt Rogers, Vice President of Sales at Have A Day. “The talent keeps the brand in front of people every week, and our beer-house partners move it the way they move everything else — fast, cold and out the door. That’s a different kind of growth than buying your way onto a shelf.”
When the Founders Show Up, the Cases Move
Over four days of store and bar appearances across Columbus, Cleveland, Buffalo and Albany in late September and early October, wholesaler partners reported roughly 450 cases sold, averaging about 85 cases per off-premise stop. Empire Wine & Liquor in Albany brought in three pallets ahead of the visit and posted the largest single-store day of the tour. Addy’s in Buffalo presold online for event-day pickup and required a purchase to join the line. In Ohio, Columbus and Cleveland have moved 2,735 cases combined since restocking in August.
“The coolest part of this whole thing is meeting people who have been watching us for years and seeing how excited they are about Have A Day,” said Robby Berger, Founder of Bob Does Sports and Co-Founder of Have A Day. “We made something we actually like drinking and to be able to share it with our fans that have grown over the years with us is very special. We really feel like this is just the start and that’s a very cool feeling.”
What’s Next
The company is opening seven to 10 new territories across Ohio, Tennessee and Florida, with four to five additional wholesalers targeted for November and a further round in December. In Tennessee, Athens Distributing has opened the western half of the state around Memphis, with Lipman Brothers covering eastern Tennessee; both are statewide operators. Buc-ee’s will add Have A Day at its new Dayton, Ohio and Daytona Beach, Florida locations in the fourth quarter.
Have A Day is made with premium blanco tequila, contains no artificial flavors or sweeteners, and is packaged in 12-ounce cans at 5% ABV. The lineup includes Miami Vice, Transfusion, Watermelon Wave and Georgia Peach, plus a Variety Pack. In a ready-to-drink category dominated by vodka and malt bases, the tequila foundation reaches both the RTD buyer and the tequila drinker.
